Many families, as well as preschools and schools, hold parties, don’t they?
Costumes, treats, and games are the main attractions at these parties, but decorations are another must-have!

In this article, we’ll introduce useful Halloween decoration ideas and DIY decor items you can make yourself.
They’re all easy to make, so be sure to try them and use them to decorate your venue!
[Simple & Easy] Handmade Halloween Decorations [Part 2] (1–10)
Glass Deco Halloween Tree

A “Glass Deco Halloween Tree” made with glass paints turns out beautifully thanks to the glass-like texture, so it’s a great choice when you want decorations with a touch of originality that stand out from those of your friends or coworkers.
In particular, the method of applying glass paint directly onto a plastic sheet is very handy when you’re in a hurry, since you can use it as a tree ornament right away.
By the way, using a toothpick to tidy up the fine details as you work will give you a clean, polished finish!
Paper flowers in Halloween colors

Let’s make paper flowers using Halloween-colored origami like purple, orange, and black! They’re much easier to make than they look: accordion-fold the paper, round off the ends into petal shapes, and simply glue them together.
Try switching up the colors to create various two-tone flowers, or layer them for a more three-dimensional look.
You could even use colored construction paper instead of origami to make large flowers.
Just by decorating your wall with these, the space will instantly feel festive and put you in the Halloween mood.
3D wall-mounted pumpkin

Pumpkins peeking out from the wall.
How about making some cute, three-dimensional Halloween decorations to brighten up your walls? They’re very easy to make: cut colored construction paper according to the shapes, glue the pieces together, and add the pumpkin’s eyes, mouth, and a green stem—that’s it! Try changing the pumpkin colors or slightly adjusting the sizes to create a few variations; it’ll look very cute and festive.
If you prepare the pre-cut shapes in advance, all that’s left is gluing, so you can make them together with your children.
Ornaments made from socks

A great way to repurpose socks you no longer use—whether they’ve developed holes or no longer fit—is to make “sock ornaments.” Here’s how: First, cut the sock into four sections, then paint the mouth piece on top so that the edge forms a jagged line in a contrasting color.
Next, stuff the cuff portion with cotton and sew both ends.
Finally, glue on the eye pieces, and you’re done.
With a little creativity, you can customize a variety of characters and expressions, so give it a try!
Halloween hanging decoration
How about incorporating hanging decorations that you can display anywhere in your room into your Halloween decor? Once you learn how to make them, you can easily create classics like jack-o’-lanterns, mummies, and bats using A4-size printer paper, so they’re highly recommended.
And even when you don’t have shelf or table space for decorations, you can still decorate by hanging them from a string overhead.
It’s great that they don’t depend on where you put them!
Black Cat of Halloween

Here’s how to make a black cat.
You’ll need two toilet paper rolls, double-sided tape, scissors, a ruler, a pencil, yarn, wood glue, felt, ribbon, and round stickers.
To make it, mark the rolls and cut slits, attach them with double-sided tape, then wrap black yarn around to form the face and body.
You can make the cat’s ears and a witch’s hat out of felt, and adding your favorite ribbon is a lovely touch.
The key point is to check that the cardboard core doesn’t show through the gaps in the yarn.
Have fun creating your own original black cat!
jack-o’-lantern
https://www.instagram.com/p/CUPYSqnpoee/This is a pumpkin lantern made by using the bottom of a plastic bottle! The bumpy base of the bottle is treated as the shape of a pumpkin, then covered with paper clay and painted.
If you cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth before painting, it will look beautiful when you place an LED light inside! You can paint any colors or patterns you like, so you’ll end up with a one-of-a-kind original piece.
If you’re making it as a parent-child activity, an adult can prepare the base and let the kids do the painting!
