When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

APPI JAZZY SPORT is a music festival held in midwinter at a ski resort in Iwate. Organized by a label themed around music and sports, it features a rock-solid lineup centered on hip-hop artists—you can’t go wrong!

Held at Appi Kogen in Iwate Prefecture, this event is based on the idea that “events are a universal language,” and that among them, music and sports draw great interest. It’s organized so attendees can enjoy winter sports and music together. A music festival at a winter ski resort is certainly a fresh and exciting concept.
