List of Artist-Hosted Festivals Nationwide [2025–2026]
There are music festivals all over Japan, but this time we’ve gathered artist-organized festivals from across the country.
Because these festivals are hosted by the artists themselves, you can feel the bonds and connections between artists, as well as their passion for the festivals.
You can enjoy a different atmosphere from ordinary festivals.

Kotobuki Shiriagari presents New Year! (Ltd.) Saru-Hage Rock FestivalSat, Jan 17, Tokyo Metropolis
https://x.com/sarufes/status/1951284820086235379This is a rock festival organized by manga artist Kotobuki Shiriagari. It began with the idea that, while people might want to go to a rock festival, it seems like a hassle—so why not do it ourselves? It started as an internal event for company associates, and since 2008 it has been held as a rock event that draws an audience. The participating artists are truly eclectic: rock, solo acoustic sets, and uniquely individual performances that defy genre labels. It’s definitely more than just a rock festival—you’re guaranteed an experience unlike anything you’ve had before. I’d love to attend someday.

Memeta: The World FestivalSun, 2/22, Tokyo, Japan
https://x.com/memetaaa_fes/status/1974716220046975335MemeFes is a circuit-style music event hosted by the band Memeta. The great thing about circuit events is that, beyond seeing your favorite bands, you can discover new artists, visit a variety of live venues, and enjoy new connections among fans. With that wish in mind, the lineup of artists gathered is something to look forward to. Big venues are impressive and powerful, but we also recommend the unique closeness between artists and audiences that only live houses can offer. Throughout the event, messages from fans easily reach the artists, making for performances with a strong sense of unity.

Set at Sodegaura Seaside Park in Chiba Prefecture, it grew into a major rock festival that drew 60,000 attendees in 2014. As the title suggests, the event is hosted by the rock band Kishidan, and its appeal lies in a remarkably diverse lineup—from rock bands and singer-songwriters to idol groups—allowing audiences to enjoy many popular acts all at once.
