Burning Man is a festival in Black Rock City in the American West, a temporary city built in the Black Rock Desert in northwestern Nevada. Since a small group organized by Larry Harvey and friends first held it at Baker Beach in San Francisco in 1986, it has been held every year up to the present. It is a festival with a long history.
