List of domestic circuit events [2025–2026]: City festivals

“Itsuseka” is a circuit-style event organized by Six Blitz in Kyoto. Steeped in DIY spirit, it’s held with the aim of energizing Kyoto’s music scene. Inspired by Tokushima’s historic music festival, the Tokushima Jazz Street, this Tokushima Rock Street—essentially the rock version of the Jazz Street—is a circuit-style festival that lets you freely move in and out of more than ten venues in downtown Tokushima. It’s a celebration where you can enjoy a wide range of music, from solo acoustic performances to full bands.

KANSAI ROCK SUMMIT, held since 2014, is one of the largest visual kei circuit festivals in the Kansai region. Using live houses around Osaka’s Amerikamura as venues, a wide variety of visual kei artists perform one after another. There aren’t many visual kei events on this scale, are there?

The Ikebukuro Jazz Festival is accepting performer applications until the end of February. To apply, simply upload a performance video to YouTube and fill out the application form. Professionals, amateurs, all genders, and all ages are welcome, so why not apply and aim to perform? With 11 venues around Ikebukuro Station, the city is sure to be filled with music on the day of the event.

This is a local jazz festival held in the urban area of Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, with the aim of revitalizing the town. The event is energized by spectacular performances from guest musicians active nationwide. Local musicians have continued the festival by planning and managing it themselves. Venues range from concert halls in the city to neighborhood cafes, turning the entire town into a stage. Although some venues require reservations, there are also free-admission locations, making it easy to enjoy. You can also stroll around the city while enjoying food, drinks, and shopping.
