When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

Fes Volta features a wide range of performances by both professionals and amateurs. They say they aim to be “the world’s most accessible festival,” but what exactly is the reason behind that…?

It’s a new kind of event where anyone can take part just by making a single phone call to the organizer’s mobile. Both performers and attendees can join by paying the same admission fee—think of it like a potluck “yaminabe” gathering. On stage, it’s anything goes: not only music, but you can even sell food or paintings. The anything-goes style is surprising and intriguing!
