They are also mindful of the environment by powering all event operations with biodiesel-generated electricity, using reusable tableware, and encouraging attendees to bring their own chopsticks.

Additionally, because the organizer is a vegetarian and does not want any killing associated with an event they host, there is a firm policy that none of the food booths at Itadaki serve meat.
