KhonSlot Machine

Formed in 2010, the Thai rock band Slot Machine is coming to Japan for Fuji Rock.
Emerging from Thailand—a country not often associated with rock bands—they’ve been gaining popularity worldwide.
With guitar tones and vocals that can only be described as truly emo, their performance is absolutely a must-listen.
Sumo JungleSoichi Terada

Soichi Terada, who is also active as a video game music composer.
Among his signature works are the Circle K Sunkus commercial song and tracks from the game Ape Escape—chances are you’ve heard some of them.
He has been performing actively overseas and earning growing acclaim, so it’s very exciting to see what his stage performance will be like.
Maybe TomorrowStereophonics

The British rock band Stereophonics will also perform at Fuji Rock.
With five consecutive UK number-one albums and large-scale concerts held at castles across the country, they are one of the UK’s leading artists.
In Japan, they’ve performed at Fuji Rock twice before and appeared at ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s NANO-MUGEN FES.
, making them a truly cross-border, popular act.
STAY TUNESuchmos

Suchmos, a six-piece band set to break big this year with a style that mixes rock with Black music like acid jazz and hip-hop, will appear at Fuji Rock.
Their sound has earned them the nickname “the Japanese Jamiroquai.” You won’t want to miss their stylish and cool performance.
T-shirt RevolutionTHE COLLECTORS

THE Collectors, influenced by UK rock, have been leading Japan’s mod scene for 30 years.
This T-shirt Revolution features striking lyrics filled with strong resolve.
The call-and-response in the chorus looks like an absolute blast.
Same Ol’The Heavy

A lot of you probably recognize this song.
It’s “Same Ol’” by the British four-piece band THE HEAVY, and it was used in a Pepsi commercial featuring Shun Oguri.
Many of you might have thought the song in that ad was cool and wanted to know more about it.
Now you can finally hear that track live.
Always for YouThe Album Leaf

The Album Leaf, who once had to cancel their scheduled appearance at Fuji Rock in 2007, have returned to the festival.
They’re a popular act in the post-rock scene, so this set is one to watch.
They’ve also announced a new album coming out this year, so keep an eye out for that as well.
