VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, a music and video creator, will perform at Fuji Rock in an unusual lineup as a collaboration with the band cero.

VIDEOTAPEMUSIC has previously worked with cero—such as directing their music videos—so they’ve had connections in the past, but this time it’s a musical collaboration, and it’s exciting to imagine what kind of stage they’ll deliver.

By the way, the MV for cero’s “Yellow Magus” that we mentioned was directed by VIDEOTAPEMUSIC.

THANXWANIMA

THANXWANIMA

Since their debut on PIZZA OF DEATH, WANIMA have steadily grown in popularity and are now unstoppable.

With “one chance” as their motto, their appeal lies in the wide range from cheeky, sex-themed songs to genuinely “good songs” like 1106 and this track, as well as the distinct personalities of the three members.

Their live shows are undeniably fun, so don’t miss them.

Wilco – Jesus, Etc (clip)
Jesus, EtcWilco

Wilco is an American rock band, and this year marks their 22nd year of activity.

Although they’re a rock band, their songs have a very calm atmosphere.

I think their music would fit the vibe of Fuji Rock.

The lyrics of this song are somewhat abstract, which is why there seem to be various interpretations.

If you’re curious, try looking it up online.

They are a new-generation act active since 2010.

Incorporating elements of R&B and house, their music is youthful and energetic.

Sonic Fireworksavengers in sci-fi

avengers in sci-fi is a three-piece alternative rock band from Kanagawa.

Their music has a cosmic feel, with a captivating quality that draws you into their world.

They seem like a perfect fit for the atmosphere of Fuji Rock.

MAHOROBAillion

illion is the solo project of Yojiro Noda, the frontman of the popular rock band RADWIMPS.

It offers an even deeper look into the worldview that is abundantly present in RADWIMPS.

The first album, released in 2003, was distributed worldwide and has gained popularity overseas as well.

Bombs are scary.Zainichi Funk

Zainichi Funk is a seven-member funk band fronted by vocalist Kenta Hamano, aka Hamaken.

The band’s name reflects their aim to reexamine the lineage of funk stemming from James Brown from within Japan.

As you’d expect, their performances are incredibly funky and super cool.

At the same time, Hamaken’s comical onstage moves are irresistibly charming—definitely something to watch for at their live shows.
