Editor-in-chief of RAG MUSIC and in charge of music festivals. When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

An event themed around cliffs known as “ganke” and Ainu mythology. In addition to music, various activities are available, so children can enjoy themselves without getting bored.

GANKE FES has been held in Shintoku, Hokkaido since 2014. Of course you can enjoy the music, but there’s also a campground, art events, and workshops, making it a packed festival that families with children can enjoy. Plus, the ticket options are great, with discounts for town residents and tickets available through the hometown tax program!
