Haagen-Dazs 'Masquerade' VersionKo Shibasaki

This is the Häagen-Dazs “Masquerade Ball” commercial featuring Ko Shibasaki that aired in 2015.
A man and woman slip away from a glamorous, lively masquerade ball and, in a sudden shift, find themselves on a quiet rooftop under the starry sky.
They remove their masks and eat ice cream together.
The tagline, “The rich moments last long,” is a nice touch.
Haagen-Dazs 'Tea Room Green Tea' VersionAyami Nakajo

The Häagen-Dazs Green Tea commercial featuring Ayami Nakajo that aired in January 2019.
Since green tea and matcha evoke a refined image, Ayami Nakajo appears in an elegant kimono, savoring Häagen-Dazs with a dreamy, delicious look.
Häagen-Dazs Japan was highlighting matcha to mark its 35th anniversary in 2019—after all, when you think of Japan, you think of matcha!

Häagen-Dazs Crisp Chip Chocolate “When Two Met” VersionAyami Nakajo

This is the 2017 Häagen-Dazs commercial “Crispy Chip Chocolate: The Two Who Met,” featuring Ayami Nakajo as the image character.
Ayami Nakajo appears in dual roles as both a man and a woman, using the pair to liken the textures of the chocolate chips and the ice cream to masculine and feminine qualities.
She’s so beautiful that even in male attire she looks wonderful—like a top star in the Takarazuka Revue’s male roles!
Haagen-Dazs “MOON ON THE SPOON”Ayami Nakajo

This is a rare animated commercial for Häagen-Dazs titled “MOON ON THE SPOON.” Just as the character is about to eat Häagen-Dazs ice cream, she sees the moon reflected on her spoon, looks up at the sky, and gazes at the real moon.
The voice of the main girl is Ayami Nakajo, who also appears in other commercials in the series.
The animation pays close attention to detail—the nighttime scenery feels like it’s overseas, and there’s a cat by her side.
Interestingly, only the Häagen-Dazs ice cream itself is composited as live-action footage.
Haagen-Dazs: 'Can't Wait Until I Get Home' VersionKo Shibasaki

This is the Häagen-Dazs Crispy Sandwich commercial titled “Can’t Wait Until I Get Home,” starring Kou Shibasaki, which aired starting in 2011.
The CM begins with Shibasaki walking toward the camera, as if approaching us, and asking, “Hey, what about you?” True to the theme of not being able to wait until she gets home, she stops by a shop along the way and walks while eating a Crispy Sandwich.
Häagen-Dazs “How to Make You Happy” VersionYurina Hirate

This is the Häagen-Dazs Vanilla & Crunchy Chocolate commercial titled “How to Make Myself Happy,” featuring Yurina Hirate.
Humming to herself, Hirate walks into the living room with a Häagen-Dazs in one hand and a spoon in the other.
In a room filled with a refreshing breeze, she takes a bite of the ice cream.
The narration says, “I know how to make myself happy,” which is really nice, isn’t it? Rather than relying on others or expecting something from someone, it’s best to take charge of our own happiness, isn’t it?
Haagen-Dazs “Richer Than a Kiss” VersionKo Shibasaki

This is the 2014 Häagen-Dazs commercial featuring Kou Shibasaki, titled “Richer Than a Kiss.” The title is a little heart-fluttering, isn’t it? Dressed up as if she’s just come back from a party, Kou Shibasaki lies down on a bed and leans toward the camera with a kissy face—then a spoon appears and she takes a bite of ice cream.
It’s the kind of ad that makes you want to blurt out, “Wait, ice cream?!”
