Kuro-mame Rock Fest is a packed event in Kyotanba where you can enjoy nature, food, and music. It’s an event that people of all generations can enjoy.

hoshiotoSat, May 31 — Okayama Prefecture
Hoshioto is held in Okayama Prefecture. Taking place in the nature-rich city of Ibara, Okayama, as the event title suggests, once night falls you can enjoy a collaboration of beautiful starry skies and music. At hoshioto in 2016, it’s said that a very beautiful starry sky was visible during Sawagi’s headlining set. We’re praying for good weather again this year!

Well-roasted Music FestivalSun, May 25 – Osaka Prefecture
An outdoor festival hosted by the label “Kongari Ongaku,” run by Ishii Motako of Oshiri Penpenz, DODDODO, and Moriyudai of Neco Nemuru. It’s a music festival that started in 2014, billed as an event that “caresses the heartstrings for all ages and genders.”

Forest, Path, MarketFri 5/23–Sun 5/25, Aichi Prefecture

The world foreverSun, 5/18 – Kyoto Prefecture
“Itsuseka” is a circuit-style event organized by Six Blitz in Kyoto. Steeped in DIY spirit, it’s held with the aim of energizing Kyoto’s music scene. They’re also recruiting volunteer staff, so joining behind the scenes could be a great option. COMING KOBESun, May 18 — Hyogo Prefecture
Kobe, which recovered and rebuilt after the damage caused by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995. There was a great deal of support for the recovery. This charity festival began as a way to give back for that support and has been held every year since. Admission is free every year, and donations are collected throughout the venue. The event has safely been confirmed to take place again this year.
