Jazz Festivals in Eastern Japan [2025–2026]: List of Jazz Streets

This event is a long-standing jazz festival that has been held since 1993 under the slogan “The entire city becomes a stage.” Taking place in Yokohama—a historic port city and arguably the birthplace of jazz in Japan—it attracts 100,000 visitors every year, making it one of the largest jazz festivals in the country.

The Blue Note JAZZ FESTIVAL, a summer tradition in New York, the home of jazz, made its way to Japan in 2015. At the exotically atmospheric Yokohama Red Brick Park, you can enjoy performances by world-renowned jazz musicians.

Jazz Cruising, where you can enjoy a live jazz performance and a cruise at the same time, the four-day Jazz Week featuring live shows by both professional and amateur jazz musicians leading up to the main Jazz Street event, and then the main Jazz Street itself!
