A festival with the concept “Dance JAZZY, not JAZZ.” It stylishly showcases the next-generation JAZZY sound. Drawing on elements from the many genres the 2000s generation has listened to—jazz, rock, hip-hop, reggae, house, electronica, and more—it centers its concept around the axis of “JAZZY.”

Tsu’s Dead-Center Jazz FestivalSat, 5/17 Mie Prefecture

This is a local jazz festival held in the urban area of Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, with the aim of revitalizing the town. The event is energized by spectacular performances from guest musicians active nationwide. Local musicians have continued the festival by planning and managing it themselves. Venues range from concert halls in the city to neighborhood cafes, turning the entire town into a stage. Although some venues require reservations, there are also free-admission locations, making it easy to enjoy. You can also stroll around the city while enjoying food, drinks, and shopping.
