While there aren’t many major, well-known festivals this time of year, there are plenty of festivals that are ideal for a casual day out.

This is a jazz festival held in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, one of Okayama Prefecture’s premier sightseeing destinations.

This event beautifully combines a historic townscape of white-walled buildings with modern jazz, letting you enjoy not only the music but the scenery as well.
