Based mainly in Tokyo, I’ve worked as a backup dancer for artists, a music video dancer, and a commercial dancer.
I continue to perform as a dancer while also engaging in article production.
Discovering Michael Jackson in junior high sparked my interest, and I began dancing in my second year of high school.
Since starting dance, I’ve expanded my listening beyond the J-pop and Japanese rock I used to enjoy to include Western R&B, rap, and alternative music—especially tracks commonly used for dance.
I spent three years in a children’s choir during elementary school, and because I love singing, I often go to karaoke for fun.
These days, I enjoy a wide range of music, from Japanese rock and rap to K-pop.
