The charm of singer-songwriter Yu Takahashi lies in his lyrics filled with gentle warmth.

His song Fuku Warai sings about the importance of smiles, with the line, “I’m sure the universal language of this world isn’t English, but smiles.” Many of his other songs are also appealing for their strong, message-driven lyrics.

ONE OK ROCK is a hugely popular four-piece rock band.

They’re also very popular overseas, and their biggest draw has to be vocalist Taka’s overwhelming singing ability.

His voice is truly wonderful—so captivating you can’t help but fall in love as you listen.

A song where you can fully savor Taka’s vocals is “Wherever you are.” It’s a relatively early track, but it was recently used in a commercial and has become a hot topic again.

The band Jigokuzu (Hells) from the film “TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu,” released in February 2016, will be performing at METROCK.

The members are Tomoya Nagase, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Nana Seino, and Kenta Kiritani.

Of course, Nagase stands out, but it’s also noteworthy that Kiritani used to play drums, so his performance will be one to watch.

Also, the song playing in the film’s trailer is “TOO YOUNG TO DIE,” composed by KYONO of THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS.
