When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

An admission-free outdoor rock festival held in Sakai, Osaka! From popular bands to up-and-coming acts on the verge of breaking out, it’s an event where you can discover your new favorite sound!

MIKROCK (Mikurokku)

Microck is an event hosted by the live music venue “Mikunigaoka FUZZ” in Sakai, Osaka. It will be the first outdoor rock festival in Sakai. As a free music festival, it aims to energize Sakai with the goal of getting the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group recognized as a World Heritage site. Areas within the venue are named after kofun (ancient burial mounds), letting you enjoy a unique atmosphere.
