He once moved his base of activities to Tokyo, but later returned to his hometown of Kyoto. Now, while living in Kyoto, he is actively performing at live houses and festivals all over Japan.
Above all, their greatest appeal lies in their passion and a powerfully gentle kindness.
Their charm shines through in their songs and MC segments, and you can fully feel it at their live shows.
The heartfelt MCs that overflow with kindness from vocal guitarist TAKUMA and the passionate live performance by the three of them are must-see.

The second Kyoto Daisakusen, held the following year, took place over two days. On the first day, the bands that had been scheduled to perform in the inaugural year gathered, making it a day that recreated the fabled first edition of 2007.
Since then, holding a two-day event every July has become the norm,Now an essential event that marks the start of summer in Kyoto, drawing about 20,000 people each year.It has turned out to be.
By the way, in 2017—the 20th anniversary year of 10-FEET’s formation and the 10th Kyoto Daisakusen—the event was held over three days, but it was interrupted midway by a thunderstorm.

Everyone there loves music and loves 10-FEET, so the sense of unity in the venue is really strong.
Also, since the event is hosted by bands, one of the charms of Kyoto Daisakusen is seeing how close the performers are with each other.

In this way, Kyoto Daisakusen has a unique appeal: a warm, welcoming atmosphere that only a festival hosted by 10-FEET can create, and special performances you won’t see at other festivals.
The 2018 Kyoto Daikassen involved a heartbreaking decision...
The first year was canceled due to a typhoon, in 2017 it was suspended because of a thunderstorm, and it often rains in other years as well... Yet fans still enjoyed Kyoto Daisakusen even while getting covered in mud.
As for Kyotō Daisakusen, in 2018 it was affected by rainfall at a disaster-level intensity,Canceled on both daysIt was decided to do so.
Amid the many differing opinions, I believe it was a painful decision made with the safety of attendees, performing artists, and staff as the top priority, and to ensure that Kyoto Daisakusen can continue to be held from next year onward.
Ticket refund
Since it was canceled, the tickets will be refunded, and the method is as follows.
- Return the ticket called the “Universal Voucher” by specified registered mail.
- The payment certificate will arrive at a later date.
- Take the payment certificate to the post office and cash it
In other words,If we issue a refund, we won’t have the universal tickets left on hand.It is... (sob).
As a fan who takes part every year, this is a pretty tough blow… up until now, the tickets served asI collect wristbands and all-purpose tickets/passes.I bet many of you are fans, aren’t you?

Vocalist TAKUMA personally visited the disaster-stricken areas in Okayama Prefecture and carried out relief activities, and it’s great that we fans can also participate in the reconstruction support in this way.
How to enjoy Kyoto Daisakusen
From here, I’d like to introduce how to enjoy Kyoto Daisakusen, including how to get to the venue and ways to make the most of the day.
Access to the venue
First, let's talk about the most important thing for starting Kyoto Daisakusen: how to get to the venue.
in Uji City, where the event will be heldYamashiro General Sports Park Taiyogaokato; toward; into; for (indicates direction or target)There are four ways to access it.There is./There are.
Some of you who are joining for the first time may be worried about how to access it, right?
Make sure you secure your access for the day and kick off the Kyoto Daisakusen in the best way!
Use the official shuttle bus
First, the first way to access isOfficial shuttle buses from Kintetsu Okubo Station and Keihan Uji Station, as well as a shuttle bus from JR Kyoto Station. It is.
Isn't this the most basic method of access?
Moreover, thisIf you present your bus ticket at the venue’s ticket window, you will receive a special Kyoto Daisakusen tenugui (hand towel).。
These limited-edition tenugui (not for sale) feature a different design every year, so taking the bus to collect them is one of the fun things to do!
If you’re coming from afar, we also recommend a tour plan bundled with accommodations.
walk from the nearest station
The second access method is the moA walking distance from Kintetsu Ōkubo Station and Keihan Uji StationThis is access at.
It’s about 3 to Kintetsu Ōkubo Station and Keihan Uji Station.
It’s a bit far at 5 km, but how about heading to the venue with your friends at your own pace?
Also, since the buses on the way back are extremely crowded, I think some people choose to walk only for the return trip.
It’s also common to see people walking to the venue looking like they’re having a great time—singing together, even with strangers, as they get closer.
I’ve also heard stories about fans walking to the station while picking up trash along the way, and episodes like that really make you feel that Kyoto Daisakusen is such a warm-hearted festival.
Use the temporary parking lot
The third isUse the temporary parking lot set up near Kintetsu Ōkubo Station. This is how to do it.
Driving directly to the venue is prohibited, but if you purchase a parking ticket in advance, you can drive to Kintetsu Ōkubo Station, which is great for those coming from afar.
From Kintetsu Okubo Station, head to the venue either by the shuttle bus introduced earlier or on foot.
Go by bicycle or motorbike
And the last access method isBicycles & MotorcyclesThis is access at.
Although space at the venue is limited,A free bicycle parking area is available. So if you live nearby, I recommend going by bicycle or motorbike.
Caution
We have introduced four access methods as follows, butIn particular, please exercise great caution when walking from the station or accessing the area by bicycle or motorcycle so as not to inconvenience nearby residents.Let's do it.
Also, arriving at the venue by car is prohibited, so please absolutely refrain from doing so.

How to enjoy Kyoto Daisakusen
Let's spread a sheet on the hill.

At Kyoto Daisakusen, around the main stage called Genji no Butai,You can lay out a picnic sheet on the hillside and sit to watch.。
Also, bringing in bottles and cans is prohibited, but many people bring cold drinks in coolers.
You can relax in the seating area, so during set changes you can take a break in your seat or watch comfortably from your seat and enjoy the show at your own pace.
However, because the sheet area is limited, to lay down a sheet in a spot where you can see the stage from the sheet,Getting up early and lining up before the venue opens is a must...。
But getting up early like that and heading to the venue with friends also feels like a special day, and it's fun, isn't it!
2 stages + 1 floor
At Kyoto Daikassen, the large one that serves as the main stageStage of GenjiIt has the vibe of a live music venue.Ushiwaka's StageIt is conducted in a two-stage system.
The Genji stage is a large stage with a seating area as well, giving it that true summer-festival vibe!
On the other hand, the Ushiwaka stage has the vibe of taking a live music club and setting it outdoors, where popular up-and-coming bands and next comers deliver full-throttle performances.

For young bands in the Kansai region, performing on the Ushiwaka stage is a major goal and something they aspire to.
Also, while the timetables for these two stages are arranged alternately, the stages are a bit far apart and it will be extremely crowded on the day, so unfortunately it’s difficult to catch every performance on both stages.
However, if you absolutely want to see artists on both stages, I recommend watching the first half of the live performance on the Genji stage, then moving over to catch the second half of the live performance on the Ushiwaka stage.
Furthermore, at Kyoto Daikassen, there’s something you don’t see much at other festivals: inside a gymnasiumKurama RoomThere is a venue like that.
Here, a wide variety of events are lined up, including street basketball performances starting with the Osaka Basketball Association, basketball games, and even appearances by performing artists who step up to take free throws.
Additionally, the Kurama Room is air-conditioned, so if you start feeling tired from the outdoor heat, we recommend taking a break there while enjoying some cool, stylish basketball performances.
My Forest Grand Strategy
At Kyoto Daisakusen, we aim to hold a festival with zero waste.
When it comes to festivals that draw large crowds, trash is inevitably an issue. However, at Kyoto Daisakusen, thanks to calls from the hosts 10-FEET and the performing artists, many attendees pick up trash before they leave. As a result, it’s said that there’s hardly any litter left at the venue after the event ends.

This is why this festival has a warmth you won’t find at others.
Isn’t it the result of the personalities of the three members of 10-FEET moving the hearts of so many fans?
In addition, the venue uses reusable cups for drinks, and there is also an initiative called the My Forest Grand Operation, which includes fundraising activities for environmental protection.
If you return this reusable cup to an Eco Station located at the venue, you’ll receive a special sticker. So once you’ve finished your drink, return the cup, get your sticker, and do your part to help protect the environment!
