Before explaining the mosh pit, firstmoshI will explain about it.
In simple terms, a mosh pit is like a game of everyone pushing and jostling each other.
Oshikura manju is a children’s game in which several people press against each other’s backs or shoulders. Because everyone pushing together keeps you warm, it is mainly played during cold seasons such as autumn and winter.
In live concerts, when things get heated, fans sometimes engage in a behavior called moshing, where they collide with each other aggressively. It is said.
There’s also something called a circle mosh, which, literally, is moshing that takes place inside a circle.
It’s a spontaneous act that happens when fans get excited at live shows, but it’s extremely dangerous and has even resulted in deaths.

Some of you might be thinking, “How is this any different from moshing?!”
A mosh pit is the place where moshing takes place. It is indicating (showing) that.
It’s often used when a large-scale mosh pit takes place.
In other words, the term 'mosh pit' is not used in places where moshing does not occur.
It’s an area where people who want to mosh gather, so to be honest, it’s dangerous.
Since any injuries, torn clothing, or damaged belongings are your own responsibility, it's safest for live-show beginners or those who prefer a relaxed experience to stay away.

Some songs have moshing starting from the intro, while others have moshing begin partway through the song.
It’s relatively common at live shows of rock, punk, hardcore, and metal.
At outdoor festivals or large venues, a big mosh pit can break out along with the artist’s call-and-response hype.
Basically, moshing occurs during fast-tempo songs.
This hurts! Moshing is a dangerous act.

It hurts just to look at it...
Many people who aren’t participating in the mosh pit get caught up in it and end up injured.
Whether you join the mosh pit or not, please keep in mind that injuries or damage are your own responsibility and that it is a quite dangerous activity.
Different in Japan and overseas? The history of moshing

I looked into when moshing started to occur.
English WikipediaAccording to reports, moshing originated in the early 1980s from the American hardcore punk scene.
The one who coined the word “mosh” isBad BrainsIt seems so.
diveAs I wrote in the commentary, I think the major turning point that led to its widespread adoption in Japan was around the mid-1990s, when the popularity of melodic hardcore and punk really took off.
It seems this was being done earlier overseas, where music and daily life are more closely intertwined than in Japan.
Lastly
In fact, I’m one of the injured—I got caught up in the mosh and damaged the ligaments in my ankle.
Many venues prohibit moshing.
It’d be great if we could create a live event that everyone can enjoy, while never forgetting that it’s all at our own risk.
