Let me introduce some music festivals held in Fukuoka, the major city of the Kyushu region!

In Fukuoka Prefecture, several large rock festivals that represent the scene are held, and there are also multiple jazz festivals.

The size of each event varies widely, so I hope readers of all ages and with diverse musical tastes will enjoy this article.

While many events are held at the Fukuoka Dome, there are also plenty that take place at the seaside venue called Seaside Momochi.

With a wide range of genres, scales, and venues, there’s something for everyone—find your favorite event in this article.

Fukuoka Prefecture

FUKUOKA MUSIC FES.Sat 1/24 – Sun 1/25, Fukuoka Prefecture

It has been 30 years since the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks relocated to Fukuoka. As one of the commemorative projects for this 30th anniversary year, the FUKUOKA MUSIC FES will be held. This is their first music festival as a self-produced event. In honor of the 30th anniversary, the lineup is star-studded! There are tickets that let you enjoy experiences unique to the Yafuoku Dome, as well as VIP tickets that include access to a buffet.

TRINGLE, held within Fukuoka’s Seaside Momochi Beach Park. It’s incredibly appealing that so many popular bands from the loud and melodic hardcore scenes are gathering, and a two-day pass is available at this price. It’s a highly recommended festival for live music kids around Kyushu! A rock fest on the beach at summer’s end—the sunset scenery will surely strike a chord in your heart, don’t you think?
