When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

Editor-in-chief of RAG MUSIC. After working at a music studio and in wedding sound engineering, joined the RAG MUSIC editorial team in 2016. Experienced with various instruments: marching band in elementary school, clarinet in middle school wind ensemble, and drums in a band from high school onward. It’s a free outdoor rock festival held in Takatsuki, a city also famous for its jazz festival. It’s a large event that draws around ten thousand people every year, but the goal is 300,000! It’s an exciting event with the potential to grow that big.

A large-scale free local festival in the Kansai region held every September since 2014! Despite being free to enter, it brings together popular artists from a wide range of scenes. There’s also a well-stocked market with local food and handmade goods, as well as a variety of workshops. About half of the attendees reportedly come with their families, making it a great event to attend with children.
