KOLFEST is an international music and art festival held on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. Officially presented as Central Asia’s first international music and arts festival, it aims to be a hub for cultural exchange where creators from around the world gather, rooted in the traditions of nomadic peoples. In addition to diverse music across multiple stages, electronic music DJ sets resound at night, and a multifaceted experience unfolds with galleries, film screenings, fashion shows, markets, and campsites. Escape Fest is an international music festival held in Tamchy on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, it is positioned as the region’s first electronic music festival. In addition to performances by domestic and international DJs such as Novak and Swanky Tunes across multiple stages, stay packages including transfers and accommodation are available. The World Nomad Games themselves are an international platform that the organizers describe as “a global forum for traditional sports, crafts, music, culture, ecology, and traditional knowledge.” The event will take place from September 2 to 3, 2026.
