Baalbeck International FestivalFri 7/24 Lebanon

This is a music festival held amid the Roman ruins of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Officially billed as “Best of Six Decades” to honor over half a century of history, it has presented a wide-ranging program—from classical music, opera, and ballet to jazz and Arab music—staged among the complex of temples. Performances resonating against the ancient stone columns create a uniquely special atmosphere found only here. The 2026 edition opens on July 24.
