Oita Festival Calendar [2025]: Music Festivals and Outdoor Events Summary

More than 30 stages will be set up in total across the central shopping streets, parks, and around Oita Station, where about 250 groups—1,000 musicians in all—from within and outside the prefecture will put on performances. The genres are diverse, with an array of music filling the city, from pop and jazz to rock and classical.

Bungotakada City’s Showa-era townscape, which has been recreated to bring back the vitality of the Showa period and has become a tourist attraction, evokes the lively streets of those days.
