Osaka Festival Calendar [2025–2026]: A roundup of music festivals and outdoor events

Mihoudai, the large circuit festival held every year across multiple live venues around Osaka’s Amerikamura, will be back this year. The lineup is carefully selected by the Mihoudai staff from bands they’ve seen live over the past year, so you can catch a slew of artists who are really on the rise. Looks like we can expect plenty of wonderful bands again this year, don’t you think?

Rockin’ Radio!, an FM802 event, is held every spring at Osaka Castle Outdoor Music Hall. It’s organized as a “Kansai-born omnibus rock event” that brings together the hottest rock bands of the moment. It’s a recommended event where you can enjoy live performances at a relatively affordable price.

The Osaka Big Band Jazz Festival was launched to energize Japan starting from Osaka by boosting the entertainment scene. There are various theories, but Osaka is said to be the birthplace of jazz in Japan, and many jazz musicians and bands from here have gone on to perform around the world. With high-caliber performers, the lineup offers not only orchestral performances and vocals but also engaging talk segments, making it well worth the trip to Osaka for a memorable time!

This event presented by FM802 began with the wish to let radio listeners see live performances by the artists they request on radio programs. Hearing the music you usually listen to on the radio performed right in front of you makes the experience even more moving.
