September Music Festivals [2025–2026]: A roundup of autumn festivals, outdoor rock fests, and other music events

This is a music event that has been held since 2013 to energize entertainment in Kitakata. The participating artists range from amateurs to professionals, and the genres are mixed—band performances, acoustic sets, and dance performances set to music. The event has grown larger every year, and visitors now come from outside the prefecture as well. Come join in the fun with the people around you and enjoy local food and delicious sake while you’re at it.

The music festival organized by the nationwide fashion brand “niko and …” will take place in Tokyo. Held over two days at Shinagawa Season Terrace, the event features artists whose styles align well with the brand’s calm aesthetic. Centered on the nine themes it advocates—uni9ue sences (clothing, food, housing, play, knowledge, wellness, music, travel, and TOKYO)—the festival offers not only music but also a wide range of hands-on activities and workshops for participants.

It’s the Kawaguchi Street Jazz Festival. In addition to live jazz performances, you can also enjoy dance and other performances at several venues around Kawaguchi Station.

New Acoustic Camp is an event of mountains, camping, and music held at Minakami Kogen in Gunma Prefecture. Unlike typical music festivals, its key point is that the mountains, camping, and music all equally “coexist” there.
