[2025–2026] Music Festivals & Outdoor Events Guide for Hokkaido and the Tohoku Region

This is an outdoor festival held at Misaki Park’s Open-Air Music Hall in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. Many bands you don’t usually get to see outdoors will perform, making it a musically fascinating festival. It’s highly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy music in the Fukushima outdoors, and because the scale isn’t overwhelming, it’s also a great fit for people who love music but don’t have much festival experience.

A free outdoor festival held in front of Tomakomai Station in Hokkaido! Kassei no Hi has been running since 2014. Through this music event, we aim to generate vibrancy and revitalize the downtown area around Tomakomai Station. The town center should be a symbol of the city and a source of pride. We hope it becomes a place where everyone can have fun and a spark that gives the younger generation dreams.

At the venue overlooking Furano’s vast mountains—where your heart feels set free—there will be not only a music stage but also performances by artists to elevate the excitement. You can savor Hokkaido’s distinctive gourmet foods, and activities that engage all five senses are available for children as well, making this an event highly recommended for families.
