The Tokushima Jazz Street is a jazz festival with a very long history. Multiple live performances take place simultaneously at various venues throughout the city. This year, numerous artists will perform live across 11 venues. These circuit-style events are wonderful, offering an extraordinary feeling as a familiar city overflows with music.

Ever since it began in 1990, this Exisama has been held with free admission (by lottery application). The lineup has grown more star-studded each year, making it bigger and better. They also recruit opening acts, and it has come to serve as a springboard for artists.

Inspired by Tokushima’s historic music festival, the Tokushima Jazz Street, this Tokushima Rock Street—essentially the rock version of the Jazz Street—is a circuit-style festival that lets you freely move in and out of more than ten venues in downtown Tokushima. It’s a celebration where you can enjoy a wide range of music, from solo acoustic performances to full bands.
