Tokyo Music Festivals [2025–2026] Outdoor Festivals & Events Guide

SPOOKY PUMPKIN is a collaborative festival by Sanrio Puroland and the music production company Melody Fair Inc. Held since 2013, it’s a popular event that sells out every year. The highlight is the collaborative live performances by artists and Sanrio characters. Also, since November 1 is Hello Kitty’s birthday, everyone counts down together to celebrate, and there are special productions to enjoy each year. In 2020, it will be the first-ever livestreamed edition, so it’s exciting to see what kind of event it will become. Let’s enjoy a special Halloween night unlike any other!

This event, organized by the web magazine “earth garden,” is a music festival themed around an “organic and ecological lifestyle.” It features not only live performances but also talk sessions and eco/organic shops, offering a wide range of activities. Asagaya Jazz Street began in 1995 with the motto, “Brightening and enlivening Asagaya with jazz.” This event, where the town overflows with jazz, is run by local volunteers, and its handmade, community-driven nature is one of its key attractions.
