As Japan’s central hub, Tokyo hosts an incredible variety of music events of all sizes and genres throughout the year.

In addition to major festivals that draw popular artists from Japan and abroad, there are also plenty of smaller, handmade events that radiate a warm, personal touch.

This is an event held around the north exit of JR Nakano Station. It’s a festival centered on Shiki-no-Mori Park, and on the same day another event, the Nakano Minami-guchi Waiwai Festival, takes place around the south exit of JR Nakano Station.
