When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

It’s a Czech music festival where hardcore musicians and audiences gather. The fans’ response to the overwhelming performances is amazing, too.

An extreme festival featuring nothing but exciting bands like hardcore, grindcore, and death metal. The venue is the Czech Republic, a holy land of goregrind. First held in 1999, it’s a venerable outdoor festival. The main attraction, above all, might be the world’s craziest audience. At times it’s hard to tell whether the artists or the crowd are the real stars. That unique character has become its selling point, drawing large numbers of attendees.
