When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

Rainbow’s End is an outdoor acoustic festival that used to take place at the Maruyama Park Outdoor Music Hall, right next to Gion, where you can savor the quintessential atmosphere of Kyoto. In 2023, the venue moved to Nantan City, and the event is now held as a camping festival. It’s likely to be a rare chance to hear acoustic performances from artists who usually play live with full band setups.
