A thunderous roar echoing through the venue
ARSKN’s live set kicked off with a cover of the Beastie Boys’ Sabotage.
I was worried about the scattered rain during the sound check, but it stopped completely once the live show started.
In Sabotage, co-stars appear,An impromptu collaboration live show。
I caught a glimpse of the bond between bands that normally perform at the same live houses.
Continue with BBA and HEYT.
At the end of the sound check, vocalist-guitarist Riona Nakajima said to the PA engineer, “Please turn up the guitar so loud I get told off.”
The venue resounded with an aggressively high-gain guitar sound, and a powerful staging unfolded.
A live performance that seems to appeal directly to the audience
The fourth song performed was TOUSOU, the title track of the mini-album released in June 2017.
This song starts with a laid-back intro.
It was striking how they seemed to squeeze out their own anxieties and frustrations, hurling each word as if appealing directly to the audience.
Mynd started by gearing up as-is and flowing right in.
It repeats defiant lyrics like, “I’m not wrong.”
If anything, it feels more powerful than their previous sound, and the song moves along at a brisk tempo.
Just when it seemed the song had wrapped up midway, a bass howl engulfed the venue, and the members locked in and went all in together.
I was overwhelmed by its sheer impact.
Comrades appear on the cover again!!
Here, he said, “Since we’ve gone to the trouble, let’s keep it festive and introduce the man who best embodies festivals in Nara,” and he’s the booking staff at Nara Neverland.Leona Okuda, who also serves on the executive committee for this Re:Festival, makes an appearance.。
It kicked off with a familiar-sounding guitar riff: Rage Against the Machine’s “Sleep Now in the Fire.”
Leona, who also performs as the vocalist of DROP CLOCK, sent razor-sharp shouts ringing through the venue.
While retaining the sense of languor up to now, it shifts completely from the roaring sound of previous tracks to a vibe that makes you want to sway your body and get into the groove.
Leona races around the stage, steadily transforming the atmosphere of the venue, and in the end climbs the stage framework and screams.
It will command the full attention of the venue.
As the vocal-guitarist Yoshinami Nakajima said at the beginning, “Since we’re outdoors today, let’s make the most of it and keep it feeling good.”A scene typical of an outdoor festivalAs it spread, I couldn't contain my excitement as a music lover from Nara Prefecture to be able to witness such a scene even at Kashihara Shrine.
A quick word after the show!

An open-air rock festival organized by Re view, a three-piece rock band from Nara Prefecture. The festival is held out of Re view’s desire to give back to their hometown through music. It’s a new rock festival in Nara, where there are hardly any outdoor rock events, launching in 2017. It’s a must-see event not only for music fans in Nara Prefecture but for music lovers across the Kansai region.
