List of rock festivals in the Tokai region [2025–2026]

TREASURE05X is held every summer. Speaking of summer, it’s all about the beach—and festivals! Since Laguna Beach hosts a seaside summer festival, it’s the perfect event to soak up the season to the fullest. With the crowd’s energy, you’ll forget the heat as you lose yourself in the music, and enjoying the local food and drinks is another highlight. The lineup is packed with hot artists, especially from the Japanese rock scene, making it tough to choose which date to attend. If possible, you’ll want to go to all of them.

This is a music event organized by the female-vocal band IRabBits, bringing together girl bands. It was held from 2009 to 2014, and will be revived in 2023. With more artists now active in girl bands than before, it’s rare to get a chance to see so many high-energy bands all at once. There will also be collaboration projects with female idol groups, so it’s shaping up to be a hot event. I’m excited to see what kind of performances they’ll deliver.

SAKAE SP-RING, known as Saka-Sup, is a large-scale circuit festival held every year mainly at live music venues in Nagoya. It has become a staple early-summer event in Nagoya. For bands active in the indie rock scene, it serves as a gateway-style circuit festival.

This is a new event held at Nukata Nature Field in Aichi Prefecture, where you can enjoy the theme of Music × Outdoors × Sauna × Coffee. One of the pleasures you can only experience while camping is sipping coffee outdoors as you gaze at the campfire; when the soothing sound of an acoustic guitar drifts from the stage, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For those who want to lose themselves in music without distractions, it’s the perfect setting.
