List of Rock Festivals in Western Japan [2025–2026]

SAKAE SP-RING, known as Saka-Sup, is a large-scale circuit festival held every year mainly at live music venues in Nagoya. It has become a staple early-summer event in Nagoya. For bands active in the indie rock scene, it serves as a gateway-style circuit festival.

This is a new event held at Nukata Nature Field in Aichi Prefecture, where you can enjoy the theme of Music × Outdoors × Sauna × Coffee. One of the pleasures you can only experience while camping is sipping coffee outdoors as you gaze at the campfire; when the soothing sound of an acoustic guitar drifts from the stage, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sharpen your senses, immerse yourself in nature with your whole body, and spend time away from the digital world—it’s a truly special experience. For those who want to lose themselves in music without distractions, it’s the perfect setting.

Microck is an event hosted by the live music venue “Mikunigaoka FUZZ” in Sakai, Osaka. It will be the first outdoor rock festival in Sakai. As a free music festival, it aims to energize Sakai with the goal of getting the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group recognized as a World Heritage site. Areas within the venue are named after kofun (ancient burial mounds), letting you enjoy a unique atmosphere.

Kuro-mame Rock—the name is striking, isn’t it? It takes its name from Kyotanba Town’s specialty, black soybeans (kuro-mame), so once you hear it, you won’t forget it. Kuro-mame Rock Fest is a packed event in Kyotanba where you can enjoy nature, food, and music. It’s an event that people of all generations can enjoy.

Hoshioto is held in Okayama Prefecture. Taking place in the nature-rich city of Ibara, Okayama, as the event title suggests, once night falls you can enjoy a collaboration of beautiful starry skies and music. At hoshioto in 2016, it’s said that a very beautiful starry sky was visible during Sawagi’s headlining set. We’re praying for good weather again this year!
