List of Rock Festivals Nationwide [2025–2026]

The outdoor rock festival HAZIKETEMAZARE, hosted by Osaka rock band HEY-SMITH, will be held again this year. It originally started as an event at live music venues, but later moved outdoors. It has finally become a staple of summer outdoor festivals. HAZIMAZA is an event full of playful spirit that only HEY-SMITH can deliver.

Since it’s “Z NO YAON” (= Oyaji no Yaon), the lineup consists exclusively of adult male groups. Even though they may be “oyaji,” I’m sure each group will showcase a mature coolness that won’t lose out to the younger crowd.

The spacious stadium venue—also used during the Olympics—offers more than just live performances by artists; it also features a rich array of free areas, including a market showcasing local Tohoku ingredients and art. It’s the perfect season for outdoor concerts, and well worth the trip to join!

The Miyakojima Rock Festival, which began in 2005 and has been held every year on Miyako Island. It’s Japan’s earliest summer music festival, set in an unbeatable location where you can gaze out at Okinawa’s beautiful sea and sky—so expectations are high again this year.
