A classic summer event in Aomori, the Yasugata Minato Festival, is coming up! The music program features different themes each day, and the Blues Fest brings together key members who are essential to Aomori’s local blues scene. In the past, the festival has even collaborated with the a-nation live tour, growing in scale as a popular event. GO OUT CAMP InawashiroFri 7/18–Sun 7/20, Fukushima Prefecture
It’s one of Japan’s largest camping festivals, organized by the magazine GO OUT. The event has expanded to venues across the country, including Fumotoppara in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and Tenjin-hama Auto Campsite in Inawashiro, Fukushima. It features stylish camp sites, live performances by a variety of artists, booths from outdoor brands, and a full lineup of outdoor activities and fun.

J-WAVE presents INSPIRE TOKYO ~Best Music & MarketThu, 7/10 – Sun, 7/13, Tokyo Metropolis
An indoor summer festival presented by the radio station J-WAVE. This event has been held as J-WAVE LIVE, but since 2022 it has been revamped and powered up into a large annual festival where you can enjoy music, food, and a market all at once. There are reserved seats available, so you can sit back and fully enjoy the live performances. Plus, because it’s hosted by a radio station, one of the highlights is the exciting lineup featuring a steady stream of popular, star-studded artists.
