What kind of live performances are unfolding?
We’ll bring you a detailed report from top to bottom!
The Saiin Fest 2017 “The Six Blitz” Live Report
Full-throttle start dash
The Six Blitz’s live show that began with “Mother Goose revisited.”
A full-throttle start from the very first moment.
Just moments ago, the audience was seated in a relaxed mood, but now, as if the performers’ energy on stage is radiating through the venue, people at the front are standing to watch.
No wonder—the song they played during the sound check before the show was “Stand by Me,” which is included on Bokura no Ongaku.
The venue had already warmed up thanks to their rock-style arrangement of 'Stand by Me' that was so true to them.
The second song was a slightly more relaxed number, but the energy in the venue remained just as high...
It was striking how the audience freely swayed their bodies as they enjoyed the live performance.
A chorus that adds flair to a sizzling live performance
Even by the third track, “Koya Tetsudō,” the fiery intensity doesn’t let up, and vocalist-guitarist Nishijima lets out a passionate cry.
And what was impressive at their live show was the two female members.
Their singing, as the chorus members who participate during live performances, was also wonderful.
At times, they add a touch of brilliance while playing percussion.
Among them, what left the strongest impression was “Frendanke,” which was performed as the sixth piece.
The lineup of a three-piece band with two backing vocalists was very beautiful.
I think you can push further, Sensei!
The second-to-last song they performed was “Night and Dance,” which is included on their first nationally distributed release, “FRIEN-D-ANKE.”
The moment the intro guitar was played, I felt the atmosphere in the venue tighten up.
Their live shows keep accelerating more and more.
In the midst of the night and the dancing, vocalist-guitarist Nishijima, playing off the venue’s name, Kasuga Kindergarten, hyped up the crowd even more by saying, “I think the teacher can go further! I think this kindergarten can go further!”—casting himself as a kindergarten teacher.
A huge call-and-response broke out just like that.
With that momentum, on to the final 'Goodbye, real world.'
It was a blazing live performance, as if bidding farewell to the real world—symbolic of the Saiin Festival continuing tomorrow.
Say a few words after finishing the live show!
