A “shima-fes” (island festival) that has been held since 2011. Known for its catchphrase “Japan’s most laid-back festival,” this event takes place on Shodoshima, an island in the Seto Inland Sea. But it’s not just laid-back—the festival focuses on the island and the Seto Inland Sea, with the concept of “a seaborne music festival that lasts a hundred years,” driven by the desire to pass this scenery on to children a century from now.
