When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

Soraoto (Soraoto)

Sora-ne is an outdoor music festival where all participants create a single shared space together. Through workshops like making decorations such as candles and tie-dye flags, and crafting musical instruments, everyone helps build the venue and the stage. There are also plenty of unique Sora-ne experiences, including primitive fire-starting and bread-making. Another highlight is the gigantic campfire that has become a yearly tradition.
