The Peaceful Love Rock Festival, which champions the theme of revitalizing local communities through music, is a large-scale rock festival that began in 1983. Growing more successful year by year, it has come to be recognized today as a major rock concert emblematic of midsummer in Okinawa and has grown into an indispensable event for the local community in Okinawa.

NUMBER SHOT has been held since 2014 as a successor to HIGHER GROUND, which took place from 2003 at the Uminonakamichi Seaside Park Outdoor Theater in Fukuoka Prefecture. Its hallmark is a relatively wide-ranging lineup, from rock bands and singer-songwriters to reggae groups. It’s one of those essential events in Kyushu’s summer live music scene.
