The Canadian punk rock band Billy Talent is making their first appearance since Summer Sonic 2005.
Formed in 1993, they’ve continued for 23 years without any lineup changes.
In addition to this song, which features a distinctive riff, they have a variety of tracks—including ones with the fast-paced energy typical of punk—so there should be plenty to enjoy.

Once known as the “Queen of Japanese R&B” and still a prominent TV personality, Akko—Akiko Wada—will mark the 50th anniversary of her singing career in 2018.
As a prelude to the milestone, she’s scheduled to appear at several rock festivals this year.

ABCThe Jacksons
The Jacksons are the group formerly known as the Jackson 5, which included Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009 at the young age of 50.
The Jacksons reunited in 2012 for the first time in 28 years and will be coming to Japan again for this year’s Summer Sonic.
This time, I chose the song ABC from their Jackson 5 era, which I’m sure many of you are familiar with.
Living Dead YouthKenshi Yonezu
Kenshi Yonezu, a native of Tokushima Prefecture, is a singer-songwriter who is also active as an illustrator and videographer.
His appeal lies in his distinctive songs, created with a commitment to being different from others.
The album that includes this song, YANKEE, won iTunes’ Best of 2014 Best Album award.
