This historical event in Kushiro, Hokkaido, has been held since 1985. It began by turning the troublesome sea fog—something that often affects the area—into a feature rather than a problem. In addition to live performances by artists, highlights include food stalls and kitchen cars run by local shops offering delicious ingredients, as well as a sound-and-light fog laser show in collaboration with DJs. Since 2021, there have also been booths where you can experience glamping and day camping. It’s well worth the trip—you can enjoy music and food while taking in the natural surroundings!
