When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

This is Toride JAZZ DAYz!, held at the Toride Civic Hall near the Tone River in Ibaraki Prefecture. Performances inside the hall are mainly by professional musicians, while amateur performances take place on a special outdoor stage. Drinks and food will also be sold at the outdoor venue, so fill your stomach and let the music fill your heart.
