Sakaiminato Yokai Jazz Festival

The Sakaiminato Yokai Jazz Festival has been held since 2002. Sakaiminato City in Tottori Prefecture, where the venue is located, is the hometown of manga artist Shigeru Mizuki and is known for its yokai as a symbol. The venue is set up right near Mizuki Shigeru Road in front of Sakaiminato Station. A jazz festival enjoyed together with yokai is a novel event unlike anything seen before.
