Bad HabitsEd Sheeran

“Bad Habits” is included on Ed Sheeran’s fifth album.
As the title suggests, his bad habit is staying out late and partying.
The lyrics are comical yet seem to carry a deeper meaning.
In the music video, Ed, dressed as a vampire, heads into a bustling city, flies through the air, and attacks crowds of people, resulting in a humorous visual.
With extensive use of 3D throughout, the video features eye‑catching motions you don’t often see.
Into The MistEivør

Eyðun’s representative singer-songwriter from the Faroe Islands—an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark—is Eivør.
She’s an artist known for her highly distinctive sound that blends the islands’ ancient folk tradition, kvæður (kvæði), with contemporary music.
“Í Tokuni” is one of her signature songs, crafted with a unique sound that fuses kvæður with digital music.
It’s a highly artistic work, and the music video features direction that makes extensive use of artistic CG.
Le bien qui fait malMozart Opera Rock

The musical Mozart l’Opéra Rock enjoys extremely high popularity in France.
Among its numbers, Le bien qui fait mal is the most popular song and is performed by a French theater troupe.
Since the music video features musical actors singing and appearing in it, the direction keeps it engaging to watch.
Both the song and its melody are highly gothic, so I think fans of symphonic metal and gothic metal will enjoy it.
Tonight We RideUNLEASH THE ARCHERS

As a female-fronted power metal band, Unleash the Archers stand head and shoulders above the rest.
Beyond their exceptionally high level of musicianship, vocalist Brittney Slayes boasts tremendous singing ability, and her mixed voice with shouts is undoubtedly among the best in the world.
Their classic track “Tonight We Ride” features a music video that evokes the world of Mad Max, complete with movie-worthy custom cars.
tabula rasaBjörk

The music video for the ingenious Björk is directed by Tobias Gremmler.
When creating the visual piece, he drew deep inspiration from the mood of her music and the worldview of its lyrics.
He explains that by using CGI to visually transform floral and mountainous landscapes, he expressed the coexistence of nature and humans and gave concrete form to the image of a utopia.
In conclusion
This time we featured various music videos under the theme of “cool,” and while choosing the tracks, I felt that British artists tend to have particularly stylish MVs.
It’s a country known as the land of gentlemen, so maybe that has something to do with it.
At Rug Music, we also introduce Western music tailored to a variety of themes.
We highlight some very obscure tracks as well, so even those who know a lot about Western music should definitely check it out!
