You Can Set Me FreeCoo Coo

It’s an exceptionally bright, upbeat track.
I think Eurobeat songs have a special kind of magic—like this one—that makes them fun to listen to and fills you with excitement.
Maybe it’s the rhythm, maybe it’s the melody, or maybe it’s the unique updraft of that era; there are probably many reasons.
Blue (Da Ba Dee)Eiffel 65

A track characterized by auto-tuned vocals, nonsensical lyrics, and a catchy melody.
It was released in 1999 by the Italian music group Eiffel 65.
It was sampled in Uzi’s 2014 track “Blue.”
Captain JackCaptain Jack

A song released in 1995 by the German Eurodance group Captain Jack.
It is included on their debut album.
The track was a hit in Germany, Belgium, and Austria, and achieved particular success in the Netherlands.
NagisaMelody.

From the mellow feel of the intro to the gradual build as the beat kicks in, it really gets me hyped.
Avex is so good at producing Eurobeat artists, aren’t they? With Eurobeat on the verge of a revival right now, Nagisa’s “Melody” is definitely one you can’t miss!
Barbie GirlAQUA

The lyrics sound catchy and meaningless, but they carry a message objecting to excessive sexual appeal in society.
Although Aqua is considered a one-hit wonder in the United States, they achieved commercial success in Europe, especially in Denmark and Sweden.
After reaching No.
1 with their debut single “Roses Are Red,” they followed “Barbie Girl” in the UK with two more hits: “Doctor Jones” and “Turn Back Time.

High EnergyEvelyn Thomas

This song was released in 1984, when the term Eurobeat was not yet commonly used.
Even so, it already incorporates the striking rhythms that would later define Eurobeat, making it a remarkably forward-looking track.
The title “High Energy” is also well known as the etymological source of the term Eurobeat.
