A poppy, catchy track released in 2011 by British songstress Jessie J that also won a Brit Award.
It features her incredibly powerful vocals and lyrics about a girl in love, making it a cute song that resonates with girls’ hearts.
Bad RomanceLady Gaga

This is one of Lady Gaga’s signature songs, which captivated the world with its overwhelming presence and addictive melody.
Included on the 2009 EP “The Fame Monster,” it went on to achieve explosive popularity.
The lyrics delve into the complexities and darker sides of love, resonating deeply with listeners.
Lady Gaga’s powerful vocals pair perfectly with the catchy rhythm, revealing new charms every time you listen.
It’s a track I especially recommend to high school students.
It’s great fun to sing along with friends, and also rewarding to listen to alone while reflecting deeply.
StarshipsNicki Minaj

With its catchy beat and cheerful melody, this track captivates listeners.
Upon its release in February 2012, it reached No.
5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a global hit.
Featured on the album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, it became one of Nicki Minaj’s signature songs.
Packed with a message of “live freely,” it’s perfect for blowing off steam or lifting your mood.
Great for drives with friends or when you want to hype up a party.
It’s also a must-listen for anyone interested in upbeat pop music.
positionsAriana Grande

Ariana Grande is an American singer-songwriter with fans all around the world.
Early on, she was often compared to Mariah Carey because of her wide vocal range.
Perhaps due to that environment, she quickly shifted toward an idol direction.
Nowadays, she has transitioned to the path of a full-fledged singer, and you can fully appreciate that change in her on “positions.” If you’re a high school student who likes stylish dance music, be sure to check it out.
Girls Just Wanna Have FunCyndi Lauper

This is another song that sticks in your head after just one listen.
It was often used on TV and frequently imitated, so I saw and heard it a lot.
It’s easy enough for middle schoolers, and every time I heard her voice, it got stuck in my head and wouldn’t go away.
She’s a captivating singer.

Price Tag ft. B.o.BJessie J
She is a British female singer-songwriter with a very distinctive musical sensibility.
However, when you look at the lyrics of this song, you can see it also has a social dimension, making it very compelling to listen to.
The English is relatively easy, so I think it’s very good.
Oh My GodAdele

When it comes to songs that high school students listen to, most are catchy and poppy, or simply whatever’s trending.
But there are surely some people who want to listen to something more unique.
For those listeners, I recommend Adele’s “Oh My God.” Many people probably associate Adele with emotional ballads.
However, “Oh My God” is the complete opposite of that image—a cool, blues-tinged dance track.
Definitely give it a listen.
