We chose songs with relatively low keys and without extreme pitch jumps, and the more you sing them, the better they’ll feel—so give them some practice!

A must-see for Gen Z men! Easy-to-sing songs by male artists for karaoke (21–30)

Offshore / Toward the open seaYuta Orisaka

Yuta Orisaka, Out Toward the Open Sea

Singer-songwriter Yuta Orisaka, whose otherworldly folk music has earned high praise from hardcore music aficionados.

Among his songs, “Oki no Hō e” is one I especially recommend.

While the piece spans a wide vocal range and features some abrupt pitch shifts, it doesn’t demand rapid-fire rises and falls in the melody.

So if you have a reasonably broad range, you’ll likely find it fairly manageable to sing.

Men with a steady mid-to-high register should definitely consider adding it to their repertoire.

humorTatsuya Kitani

Humor / Tatsuya Kitani – You More / Tatsuya Kitani
Humor Kitanitatsuya

Singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani is hugely popular among teens and people in their twenties for his wide-ranging musicality and catchy songs.

He has many great tracks, but one I especially recommend that you can sing without changing the key is Humor.

It features falsetto in the chorus, but the notes are high enough to be handled in chest voice as well, and the overall range is relatively narrow, so anyone with an average vocal range should be able to sing it in the original key.

Consider adding it to your repertoire.

Ryucu to Soinen Gohan is a four-member co-ed band formed in 2017.

Their sound is rooted in J-pop and pop rock, and they’ve gained popularity for their catchy melodies.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Mankan Zenseki.

This track blends elements of Chinese pop with J-pop, featuring a calm vocal line with little dramatic rise and fall throughout.

There aren’t any parts that require belting, so consider adding it to your repertoire.

bergamotSora Tomonari

Tomonari Sora – “Bergamot” [Lyric Video]
Bergamot Tomonari Sora

When it comes to popular artists with deep voices, many people probably think of Sora Tomonari first.

Among Tomonari’s songs, the one I especially recommend as easy for men to sing is Bergamot.

The piece is primarily built around low and lower-mid ranges, with occasional higher phrases.

The pitch movement isn’t particularly drastic, and there’s no need to belt, so even when a slightly higher part appears, you should be able to glide through it smoothly.

Goodbye ElegyMasaki Suda

When it comes to the most popular actor among Gen Z, wouldn’t Masaki Suda be the top pick? He’s also thriving as an artist and has dropped several hit tunes.

Among his many standout songs, the one I especially recommend for teenage boys is Sayonara Elegy.

This track features a style that combines folk and rock, reminiscent of Kazuyoshi Saito.

While it has intensity, the overall melody stays within a narrow vocal range.

There are few long notes and no sudden jumps in pitch, making it a perfect choice for teenage boys whose voices may still be unstable.

Tabiji Fujii Kaze

Fujii Kaze is an artist known for his unique style of blending R&B into J-pop.

For teenage boys as well, singing as effortlessly as he does is something to aspire to, isn’t it? Among his songs, one that’s especially easy to sing is Tabiji.

Compared to his other tracks, it uses fewer techniques common in R&B—such as vocal runs—and the vocal range is relatively narrow, making it a particularly singable piece for teenage male singers.

Lights Off (feat. Natori) TAKU INOUE

Lights Off (feat.

natori) is a collaboration between music producer TAKU INOUE, known for his sophisticated compositions, and singer-songwriter natori, who enjoys overwhelming support from young listeners.

Speaking of natori, his distinctive low voice with a hint of youthfulness leaves a strong impression.

That vocal quality is fully utilized in this track as well, with most of the song built around the mid-to-low register.

There are occasional higher phrases that appear as accents, sharpening the contrast with the lower tones and further enhancing the appeal of a low male voice.
